January 3, 2021 at 5:49 am in reply to: Sundays air-dried dog food – review coming? Please? #164777 Report Abusecindy qParticipant
I use this and my dogs love it. I would love to see a review of it.
cindy qParticipantI have been switching my dogs over to this food, so far no problems Anand they really like it.
cindy qParticipantMoisture 72 not 74
cindy qParticipantProtein 29% fat 18.3 moisture 74, is that what you mean?
cindy qParticipantThe food seems like a really good price, I have a standard poodle and a toy poodle, Each meal comes packed in a container for each dog. I can feed them both for $23 a week. Do they ingredients seem good other than you dont like to buy with vegetables added? I am new to rawI was feeding them fresh pet. Thanks
cindy qParticipantThe website is http://www.yournaturalpet.net
cindy qParticipantok I’ll try just Darwins in the morning. Thanks!
cindy qParticipantShe didn’t throw up this morning but now with her evening meal she did, I thought I should add Darwins slowly to her other food to transition her. Is it ok to just give her Darwins?
cindy qParticipantshe didn’t throw up with her evening meal!
cindy qParticipantthanks for your reply, my Standard is about 40-44 lbs. I only gave her a little of the Darwins with her big dog natural and she still threw it up.
cindy qParticipantYes, I did thaw it. I received it yesterday and I thawed a pack overnight in the refrig. it was completely thawed this morning when I fed.
cindy qParticipantI just got my order of Darwins yesterday, this morning I fed both my dogs a little with their regular big dog natural food my Standard Poodle threw hers back up, my Toy Poodle did fine with hers. Any one else have a dog that threw it up?
cindy qParticipantLexidog what kind of dog do you have and how much Darwins do you feed?
cindy qParticipantoh and why did you take Darwins out of the rotation?
cindy qParticipantThanks Dori, do you feed 2 different brands in one day or do you wait until you finish one to start another?
cindy qParticipantYes I did get the sample offer, thanks Amy. I am going to be feeding Darwins once a day because I also use a dehydrated raw, Big Dog Natural my dogs love it. I am concerned with it staying frozen all day in the Summer because I work and won’t be home when it’s delivered.
cindy qParticipantoh ok, I’m ok with that.
cindy qParticipantThank you, I wonder why this isn’t on the editors choice list?
cindy qParticipantHolistic Blends grain free it has a 5 star rating and is made in Canada. I pour coconut oil over this and my dogs love it. I also feed a dehydrated raw Big Dog Natural.
cindy qParticipantThanks for the reply!
cindy qParticipantHolistic Blend grain free
cindy qParticipantMy dogs love BDN, I am so hoping this is a good food, they are very picky and this is the only thing I have found that they will eat.
cindy qParticipantI have a Standard Poodle that is 1 and about 40-42lbs she eats 1 1/2 cups a day and a toy poodle that is 9 and weighs about 8 1bs she gets 1/2 cup a day.
cindy qParticipantMy dogs love bdn and have actually gained weight with it.
cindy qParticipantMy dogs like this food however it is very expensive.
cindy qParticipantCanned pumpkin works too, just make sure its 100% pumpkin
cindy qParticipantThe only food that my dogs will eat and lick their bowl clean is big dog natural and dogs for the earth.
cindy qParticipantI will, I just ordered it.
cindy qParticipantDogs for the earth
cindy qParticipantNancy, I never used Darwins so I don’t know how it would compare to Stewarts. I still prefer BDN over any I have tried, mostly because its easy, scoop add water wait a few minutes and its done. The Stewarts I have to add water and break up the little cubes.
cindy qParticipantI know you said Addiction was crumbly like BDN but it only got 3 stars, so I didn’t try this one.
cindy qParticipantJeffreyT do you remember what the consistency of NRG was? I am trying to find something similar to BDN in consistency, this is what they prefer. Thanks!
cindy qParticipantThanks for the replies! I just found NRG dog products, originally in Canada but now in the US. Its a dehydrated Raw and it looks very good. Anyone use it?
cindy qParticipantThanks so much hound dog mom!
cindy qParticipantThanks Aimee! I wonder why it got a good review on here?
cindy qParticipantHas anyone tried Grandma Lucy’s? What is the consistancy like?
cindy qParticipantThanks! It seems almost too good to be true, my dogs love it and the price is very reasonable.
cindy qParticipantNancy, have you read any of the negative comments on BDN on another post? I am hoping this company is good because my dogs love it! Do you feed anything else besides this?
cindy qParticipantKristin, no problems at all with the Stewarts! They like it and their stools are good. I am still hoping somone finds out that BDN is fine to feed. I would like to use both. I have been thinking of trying darwins also.
cindy qParticipantwhen I looked at the ingredients for ONP, I noticed that a potato was the first ingredient. I didn’t like that so I never ordered it.
cindy qParticipantMy dogs ate the Stewarts food tonight and liked it! Now hopefully it agree’s with them.
cindy qParticipantif they are in violation, why can they still sell it? I am hoping this company is ok. My dogs love their food.
cindy qParticipantSure Kristin I am going to try it tonight.
cindy qParticipantThank You Dori!
cindy qParticipantI bought a bag of Stewarts raw naturals freeze dried to try, hoping my dogs like it. Can someone look at the website and tell me what you think of this food? Thanks
cindy qParticipantBDN does label their bigger 5lb bags of food and when you buy the smaller packs they have a paper in with them with all the info.
cindy qParticipantHas anyone ever used stewarts freeze dried?
cindy qParticipantUSAdogtreats, curious as to what you feed? Thanks
cindy qParticipantthe bone must be ground really fine because I have never seen any pieces of bone in the food.
cindy qParticipantDori I would like to feed a rotation but BDN is the only food I have found that my dogs will eat that’s why I wondered if this food needed any thing added to it
Kristin. I did email them and they said the food was nutritional complete.
Crazyforcats. My dogs hated Honest kitchen and they love BDN.
