    Hi Rachael,

We’re getting our golden doodle in two weeks and have been doing a lot of research, too. I found this thread invaluable: /forums/topic/large-and-giant-breed-puppy-nutrition/

There’s a list of foods on page 15 of the thread.

Labbies are wonderful!! I grew up with them and we lost our 14 year old lab last summer. Have a lot of patience and give him a lot of exercise. They are fantastic with kids and quite energetic. Just keep the shoes off the floor and give him proper chew toys :).

I’ve always had labs and goldens. Love them both. We lost our lab last summer and are finally bringing home a golden doodle May 2! We’re very excited.

Thanks, BCnut, for your reply. I tried the copy/paste and didn’t retain the formatting. BUT!!! I did find a trick to make it work…

    1. Open Chrome (I did this on my Mac, sure it would work on PC, too).
    2. Click the folder icon to “move it to a folder” on your Google Drive. I had to create a folder on the drive (I don’t use this service, but have it since I have a google account) and saved it there.
    3. Click the Google Drive icon (upper left corner)
    4. Click on the folder > file name (Calcium.pdf) to open the file.
    5. There’s a download icon on the bottom-right part of the screen. This didn’t work for me, it might for you. however, the workaround…
    6. Click on the print icon just above the download icon (still bottom right part of the screen). When the print preview displays, there is a mini menu that appears at the bottom right with a file icon.
    7. Click the file icon to save the PDF.
    Victory!
This is a bit cludgy, but it worked for me.

    Hello,

I am getting a goldendoodle puppy in a couple weeks and have been researching puppy nutrition. This thread has been very informative. Thank you, HDM for putting this resource together and everyone for your input.

Quick question, has anyone been able to download or print the list? I keep getting 404s/errors when trying to print, or am getting prints of part of the list. I’m using Safari, Firefox (Mac & PC), Chrome (Mac & PC), and even ol’ Internet Explorer (older version, unfortunately, as I still have to keep it around for testing). Anyhoooooo…any ideas? I’d *love* to download the PDF to annotate with notes and keep on my phone while shopping.

    Thanks!
    Julie
