Can anyone recommend a well balanced, healthy puppy training treat?
Althea JMemberCaroline I use bits of real cheese in moderation to train my puppy ( 6 month old Keeshond female)/she loves the reward she gets and works hard to please💕 She is doing great / I have also tried little pieces of apple or a frozen blueberry /she likes the blueberries as she is teething and also loves gnawing on ice cubes and frozen broccoli or carrots ( not for training) hope this helps!
Michael MMemberI’m a lot like Althea – I tend to give whole foods that are just little pieces of fruit or small amounts of natural peanut butter as a treat. My pups loved them as I was training. The other benefit of giving whole food as a treat is that you know exactly what’s in them.
