ParticipantHow much has the Benadryl helped, or is it too soon to tell?
FYI, Benadryl (and its generic) are available in topical form both as a cream and as a gel. The gel has an alcohol base that evaporates quickly. That might prevent Abby from getting knocked out and provide local relief,
Has anyone taken a detailed look at the skin where she has a problem? I realize that it sounds like the area is already somewhat damaged by her chewing. Just wondering if there was a way of limiting the scope of the possibilities (insects, other injury, etc.)
Does she have any other areas on her body that appear affected? My first thought is that if it were an allergy to something she is eating that it wouldnāt be limited to just the tail.
