Well this might explain why my 9 year old Lab was having trouble with her energy levels on the Core Grain-Free Dry Dog Food. She needed more carbs! She’s doing much better on Merrick Grain-Free. Thanks!
Debra BMemberI started using the Merrick Grain Free Real Duck and Sweet Potato formula on my 2 labs about 2 months ago & love the results! My older Lab (9years old) who is also a therapy dog had really slowed down. I had been feeding Wellness Complete Grain Free for about 3 months. After switching to the Merrick, she’s back to her old self. I couldn’t be happier.
Debra BMemberI want something soft that can be broken up into tiny bits. Having said that, it should also be HIGH QUALITY!! Mostly meat, and maybe a little fruit or veggie to add to the taste along with some rosemary or turmeric.
Debra BMemberJust to name a few on the August Editor’s Choice List: Summit Original Large Breed Dry Food receives 4 stars and has rice as the THIRD ingredient. Also, Dr. Tim’s Pursuit with a 5 star rating has rice as well as Castor & Pollux Natural Ultramix Adult with a 4 star rating.
