Hi Lauren, I use Victor Yukon in my rotation for 5 rescues. It is under “Other budget friendly” dog foods.I know a dog sanctuary upstate NY that buys it in bulk (purple bag) & does very well for them also. My dogs do very well on it & love it. I started usind Drs.Foster & Smith canned food as a topper & to hide medications in- it is also 5 star & first few ingredients are meat.fish. I guess it has other ingredients that may keep it from being editors choice budget friendly or no report from the company? Maybe someone else on here will know

Whole Earth Farms by Merrick is a superior product & good company ,I would not use Diamond products too many recalls

Whole Earth Farms is made by Merrick ,a very reputable company – it is highly rated as well. You can research that brand on this site.

Shane, I agree w/ the previous 2 posts -I also work w/a rescue in Ct., I believe Diamond Naturals is $31.25 per 40bag & have cases of 24 cans of wet from Chewing.com ,it is still much better than Pedigree. Also Chewy.com will give you 1 free bag of the same size for every 12 bags that you buy – you must call to get this program. There is also $49 minimum to get free shipping to your door. That being said, there may be non-profit pet rescues in your area that will help people to keep their pets at home w/food,vet care assistance, etc. I am sure things will work out w/ a little research.

Hi, because of the omega 3 & I am vegan -lower on the food chain. I realize pets need to eat animal protein & this is the best I can do!

Thank you all! As several said you can change ingredients,it is a decent pet foodbut definitely misleading if you are sucked into it & I am not liking some of the basic ingredients in Petbrosia -I am sticking w/my rotation of Orijen six fish/Nutrisca Sal & chickpea/Acana Pacifica/Fromm Tunalina/Merrick GF Sal. Will try Dr Tims next month GF Kinesis as recommended here.

Thx , I did read several google reviews & was conflicting depending on who wrote it. You are right just from reading their website , I figured it cant be “all that” -sticking w/ my six fish Orijen rotation.
