Hi everyone hope everyone is having a nice day. I have a 12-13 year old basset hound rescue I’ve had for 10.5 years and he is in great health. The only issue he has had is age related weight loss, had labs and check up done and he is fine health wise.
I have him on a rotational diet of Activa (pets barn brand) grain free salmon, venison and duck varieties. Each time I get food he gets a different protein of those three. However, I think it’s time for a change and something with higher protein content. I’ve been doing a ton of research and my head is spinning at this point lol I’ve looked at taste of the wild, canidae and a few others. Any recommendations? I’d like to keep him on his rotational diet with any types of protein minus chicken.

    Thanks

Brands I like are Annamaet, Dr Tim’s, Farmina & Natures logic. NL is technically not grainfree but only has millet, a “pseudo grain”.
