Denise SParticipant
My 6 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier was recently diagnosed with IBD with PLE. She is wasting away. I need diet plan ASAP. She’s on chicken white rice with cottage cheese. FortoFlora with food. Also on Prednisone B12. We have appointment with internal medicine but not till February 17. I don’t feel she will last that long.
Help
Denise in Houston area in TexasanonymousMemberCall and see if they can move up the appointment. Ask to be notified if they get a cancellation.
Otherwise your only other option is to go to the emergency vet. There are no veterinary healthcare professionals affiliated with this site.
Patricia AParticipantDenise I’m so sad to read this. This is another post on Dog Food Advisors relating to diet who’s dogs also suffer from this disease. Hoping you can find some helpful hints. /forums/topic/diet-for-protein-losing-enteropathy-ple/

Lynne CMemberhi, try Royal Canin hydrolyzed. I was so against this food initially, but my dog is fine and improving. Purina also makes one. You need a vets prescription. Or go to emergency. hope he is better!
