Annamaets grain free line is 30/16 protein/fat and they have a grain inclusive that has 32/20 protein/fat.
More protein and fat in the grain food than the grain free food. This proves grain free is not always the higher protein food.

Is grain free really better than grain inclusive? All kibble has to have a source of carbs and a binder. Is potatoes or peas really that much better than brown rice or millet?
