Thanks, Martha G. I’ll certainly keep that in mind. He loves eggs, but now that we seem to have nailed it with the raw duck, we don’t want to give him anything else. Having said that, I could try adding the egg to the raw food (without cooking the patties) and see if he accepts it. Thanks for the valuable suggestion!

Hi, Elaine: First, thanks a lot for your thoughtful note. I really appreciate it. Second, it’s funny that you say it’s national. I’m in Canada and Pets4Life is Canadian. 🙂 Having said that, I will most definitely google ANSWERS pet food. I always like to have a plan B, just in case. Once again, thanks very much. 🙂

Yes, I too tend to think that there isn’t much harm done in cooking it. Still, I welcome hearing what the experts have to say about it.

Done! Thank you. Now I guess it takes a while to feed it in here? I guess I’ll log out and clear the cookies.

That’s how you got your picture here? The problem is I don’t want the picture of my dog associated to other sites in which I use the same e-mail address. Or have I misunderstood your direction?

He was eating Eukanuba large puppies until 3 weeks ago, when he refused to eat it, no matter how starving he was. We’ve switched to Blue Large Puppies recently and he seems to like it. I have given him all sorts of different treats because I keep rotating them on a daily basis. I have Blue bits chicken for healthy joints, heart and immune system; Blue Stix lamb and apples; Rollover Lamb Biscuits; Rollover crunchy beef biscuits; Blue bites chicken with dha for cognitive development; Nutro crunchy treats – PB, apple, pomegranate, banana; Get Naked cleaning teeth sticks. Some of them, as you know, are very tiny, so he gets many a day, depending on the number of times we go out for a walk and training.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the prompt response, HDM. Today I am feeding him plain “baby pasta” and canned pumpkin. I’m also giving him probiotics. And I’ll certainly try the digestive enzymes. And the same protein idea for a few days as an experiment sounds wise too. Thank you!
