I think if I had a larger dog, I would definitely only stick to 14-15lb bags or even the 24-30-40lb bags too. But for my little guy, it takes a MONTH to eat a 4-5lb bag, so switching around with small bags gives him ample time to be on a food before I change it. I did have 3 14-lb bags of Earthborn Holistic and those last him at least 3 months each… So I started splitting them in 2 and will be freezing the half I haven’t used yet to use later on, for added variety, and to be sure I use up all I have by the “Best by” date.
