MemberHi Janelle, has the peeing often new or or
possibly coincidental it is just after the other
dog is now not around? I am asking
because it could be a bladder infection
or something related to that. Does he want
to go out more often out of his norm? That
is the only thing I can think of. I am familiar
with that breed either to help more. I just
know my Pomeranian female would pee in
one outing outside, and want out more. She
had a bladder infection, and if it is left or
people are unaware as my 1st time
experience. Blood will eventually come out,
and it was pretty scary. It is a simple urine
test and pill form medication that clears
pretty fast. Then a followup test a couple
weeks after.December 18, 2014 at 8:06 pm in reply to: HELP! Sudden poop eatingā¦ā¦Sorry! #60782 Report Abuse Edit Post Visibilitychecker
MemberYou may want to feed at a certain time and usually a couple hours later it will come out. Mine goes poo 1st thing in the morning and in the evening before bed. The amount of food required for breed, age and size is very crucial. I heard before because my puppy ate them also and eventually stopped as most puppies, that it may be a vitamin deficiency. I know Vets.are costly but a specific test I am sure with knowing this can be done. Feed proper amount of food and save some moneyā¦lol. I give half and half through the day.Mine really doesnāt gorge however and is a good self feeder.Good luck in resolving this.My grandparents dog also did this as an adult dog.

MemberYes, it is probably the food if nothing has been found through the Vetrinary findings. It will be a process of elimination unfortunately finding which food will be ok for her. Is she improving with the chicken, rice and pumpkin you are feeding her? You may want to look up her breed on the internet and see which foods are best for them also. I wish you all the best is finding a solution to this issue. It is not fun! Sincerely,Kimberlee

MemberAre there any possible environmental things that may be causing this? Cleaners, smoking and such things. It could also be an allergy and try process of elimination to help.

MemberI think I misread your issue with your dogā¦lol. You would basically need a low protein dog food. Most pet stores will have the knowledge of this or should anyways. Are you in USA or Canada? Brands are different. Chicken Soup brand of dog food is good. Just make sure first so many ingredients are meat and not fillers. Feeding better food will make better health for your doggy.

MemberWith kidney issues, the food should be special. I am new to using Hillās k/d renal. It is specially formulated for renal, kidneys. The food should contain low phosphorus, low sodium and low protein. I havenāt found a compatible good brand in my area,so I stick with the Hillās for now. You may read borrow stories on the Hillās and good reviews.Just keep in mind there are people out there writing bad reviews on behalf of other food companies or the companies themselves. I also gave my dog treats, and now I am using pieces of sweet potato as a little treat. I hope this helps. My 12 year old female Pomeranian had 2 kidney stones in which I need to maintain not get more or bladder infections. She also had a liver test was a little off,but still ok. I live in Windsor,Ont.Canada and so far found a reasonable price at pet value.I have to feed wet canned food due to her only having 2 teeth left. The Vet.cans were more expensive at $3.23/ can and pet value was $2.59/can and if buy a case of 12,you basically get a free can for the 10% off. I am not sure about online yet,I am still searching for reasonable prices myself. The dry dog food will probably last longer and be cheaper. I hope this helps and if anyone know where a cheaper price can be found or a different food besides making my own can be found. I would be grateful!!
Sincerely,Kimchecker
MemberI just came across this site, and great information with the post.Thank you very much! My Pomeranian female was just put on Hillās k/d for 2 kidney stones. So,I am new to all this and wondered about the k/d.I read a lot of negativity about it,and some good responses. I am not sure which route to take on the food but will remain on the k/d until I decide or get the proper ingredients and quantity for her weight by a professional. I donāt want to just take a online website recipe, better from a professional. My financial situation is not good and with all the vet.bills lately. The professionals probably will charge for a proper recipe also. Need to save again firstā¦lol.
Sincerely,Kimchecker
MemberOk,thank you for your reply,I will stick to the Hillās k/d for now.It can be tricky to make homemade dog food, and I donāt want to mess it up. There are many bad and good review on this brand of food. There always will be a debate which ever road I go down.
Sincerely,Kim -
