Why didn't Taste of the Wild make the list?

MemberI have plowed through a lot of information about dog foods to get a good brand for my aging border collie. Now I find that Taste of the Wild, which I thought was a good food, did not make the recommended list.. Comments?

MemberAs GizmoMom said, Taste of The Wild is manufactured by Diamond, which is a company notorious for recalls. The ingredients are good, and it’s not the worst thing if it’s in a rotation, but I wouldn’t recommend it over other all the 4-5 star kibbles made by reputable companies.

MemberTOTW is made by Diamond. They have very poor quality control and have an unacceptable way of handling recalls. IMHO. Unfortunately this happens with some companies that just get too big and out source their canning, manufacturing and packaging.
