Hello. I have an Old English Sheepdog rescue that came to us at 14 months. She is now 20 months and still very much a puppy. Although I’ve tried gentle leader it is difficult to get on and off so I’m looking for something much easier so that I can take her for walks without her dragging me down the street. I have looked at the Thunderleash and Yipeeee Comfortflex harness. She is approximately 75lbs and has LOTS of hair…. any suggestions?
anonymousMemberI would get both. They only last a year or two if you have a strong dog/puller. The plastic material wears out (check daily) and make sure that the harness fits snug.
See if you can find something in leather, it will last longer.
Another thing to consider, I would get a Nifti Leash, my terrier likes to roll around on his back and is able to get the standard clip style leash to disengage and off he goes! http://www.niftisafelatch.com/shopanonymousMemberCheck this out! My friend just ordered one for her dog. https://www.thepuglifestore.com/products/heavy-duty-dog-harness
