ParticipantI have a 10 year old outside cat that is due for rabies in 3 years(It’s been 3 years) My question is does he need the other vaccines? He hasn’t been to the et in 3 years(since he had his shots) he received all of them then.

ParticipantHi-
Do they do titers for cats as well as dogs? I have never been great at keeping up with shots for my cats and haven’t had an issue. But I could never in good conscience make that recommendation to someone else. Especially with an outdoor cat. I’m bumping this question up to get other’s opinions. Good luck!-

ParticipantBCnut. I don’t want to titer him just need to know should I get the other 2 vaccines beside the rabies. It’s been 3 years and he is an outside cat. Thanks
theBCnut
MemberPersonally, I wouldn’t.
