I’m looking for a lean dry dog food that is not chicken based.
I currently have my 2 dogs on the Annamaet Lean – which has great reviews – but I think they are allergic to chichen.Any recommendations?
Thank you
Kathleen CParticipantI had my dog on Wellness but switched to Merrick salmon for the same reason. Now we find out Merrick is going to Purina so I’m looking for another grain free salmon based food too.
AnonymousMemberI like Nutrisca Salmon and Chickpea, Wysong has some foods you may like also.
crazy4catsParticipantHi-
Whole Earth Farms has a grain free pork, beef and lamb recipe that contains no poultry at all. They also have a turkey and duck recipe that only uses chicken fat not the meat. Some who have dogs with an intolerance to chicken state that they can still feed a food with chicken fat as long as there is not meat.
Good luck!
PitloveMemberZignature makes all their products without chicken. Perhaps they have something that will work for you.
