My geriatric dog has been diagnosed with kidney issues. Although I believe in a high protein, species appropriate diet, I do need to be very careful in limiting his protein sources. Has anyone come accross a good dog food that has high quality protein but low phosphorous? The more I read, it’s the high phosphorous in alot of commercial dog foods that are much worse on the kidneys that actually the amount of protein.
