I think you should first find out the cause of your shih-tzu’s dry eye , and take your shih-tzu’s to see a vet, veterinarians will give you some treatments. July 13, 2014 at 9:34 pm #46884 Report Abuse DogFoodieMember FWIW, I’ll throw this out there… my Cavalier doesn’t have a clinical diagnosis of dry eye, but every time I feed her Wellness Core Small Breed, her eyes clear up. Usually feed the natural foods include fresh human-grade raw meat (e.g. raw lamb), raw meaty bones and vegetables. Dr. Harveys is also my daily choice.
