MemberWhat kind of products would help with my shih-tzu’s dry eye condition? She’s on medicated eye drops right now. I’m looking for alternative store medications, and maybe food supplements.
fey W
MemberDry eye can have several causes. I think you should first find out the cause of your shih-tzu’s dry eye , and take your shih-tzu’s to see a vet, veterinarians will give you some treatments.

MemberFWIW, I’ll throw this out there… my Cavalier doesn’t have a clinical diagnosis of dry eye, but every time I feed her Wellness Core Small Breed, her eyes clear up. They’re less weepy and whites of her eyes become noticeably clearer.
What do you feed your dog?
fey W
MemberI always feed my lucky three times a day.
Usually feed the natural foods include fresh human-grade raw meat (e.g. raw lamb), raw meaty bones and vegetables. Dr. Harveys is also my daily choice. -
