MemberHello all-
We’re new to this forum and we’re looking for advice on food choices for our lab mix that’s allergic to everything. We haven’t been able to find a food that doesn’t contain something he’s allergic too. Right now, he’s on Simply Nourish Grain Free High Protein. Here’s what he’s allergic to:
Potatoes
Corn
Carrots
Peas
Rutabagas
Turnips
All grains – except oats
All beans
Borderline allergy to chickenWe’ve tried oatmeal and eggs, ground beef and eggs and a combo of the two but my fiance and I really don’t have a plethora of time to devote to making huge batches of food and trying to feed him on a special diet.
If anyone has any suggestions, please pass them on. We’re at a point of feeding the grain free foods because it seems like the lesser of the evils in the end where he’s more allergic to potatoes.
Thanks for all your advice and input!
It’s very much appreciated!pugmomsandy
ParticipantWhen you say all beans, do you include all legumes too, including peas and lentils? You might look into Hound and Gatos canned food. They are very simple and have vitamins so they are complete meals, Weruva Human Style Marbella Paella and Hot Dayam formulas.
