I was recently told that all dog food is to contain L-Carnitine and Taurine. Has anyone else heard that? My friends dog went into heart failure and the vet said that was due to their dogs food not containing L-Carnitine and Taurine. Since then I have looked at so many foods. There are quite a few that don’t have either one of the ingredients in them, and others it seems, have one or the other. Has anyone else ever heard this? Some of the top foods do not contain these.
