I think a great addition to each food listing would be the dry matter digestibility percentage for the company’s foods. Or if they aren’t willing to provide numbers for each food, at least a range. Merrick, for example, provided a range of 79-83% digestibility for their foods.
(As a note to anyone not familiar with this percentage, many pet food manufacturers know this number for their foods and it is a measure of how much food goes into the body, and is actually absorbed by the body. Unfortunately, very few companies ever report these numbers.)

Jennifer RMemberUnfortunately a lot of companies can’t disclose that information because they have not done any feeding trials or scientific studies to know. That is scary to me. I will not feed a food to my pets without that info.
