I mentioned this question in another topic, but it got kind of lost, which is fine, because it didn’t belong there in the first place.

But, here is my question – I adopted Bruno in late July, 2013, being told he is about 4 months old (that would make his birthday late March). He was, however, starting to teethe (changing from puppy teeth to adult teeth), which lasted throughout October 2013 or so. From research and what vets have told me, puppies begin to change teeth around their sixth month, so if late July was his sixth month, his Birthday would have been in January 2013.

Does anyone have any guesses on approximate Birthday given the teething time? Thank you!

For what it’s worth…I have a 4-month old pup–actually almost 5 now as she was born the end of September. She’s been losing puppy teeth and starting to get her adult teeth for a few weeks. Saw the vet a few weeks ago and she mentioned that they were coming in right on time.

    Thank you, Sue’s Zoo!

I will just call March 1st his Birthday and settle on it! 🙂
