My bichon is not yet a year old – weighs about 7-8 pounds. I’ve been feeding her 1/4c dry twice a day. She goes #2 4 or 5 times a day – seems more comes out that goes in. Does anyone know of a good tiny dog food that she will absorb more and not create so much waste?

How many months is she? Small breeds can be considered adults before 1 yr old (around 8-10 months) and thus you can feed her less. You might also consider giving her some probiotics or probiotic/digestive enzyme combo which might help her digest more efficiently. Also, consider how much fiber is in her current food. More fiber can make more stools. Some dogs are more sensitive to fiber than others as well. Some tiny kibbles are Amicus, Nature’s Logic, Pro Pac Ultimates grain free red meat, Wellness small/toy breed, EVO small bites.
