Yes it it is trial and error sometimes on picking a food(s) that work well for all dogs and feeding amounts. But also when you feed a “better” food, they generally require less of it. On Beneful I would have fed more than 1 cup, but on my current “better” kibble, they get 2/3 cup and actually gained muscle mass and weigh more and would be considered overweight but are still not fat according to “body condition score”. So keep that in mind as well. Also the calculator is a guideline. My dogs require less than what the calculator says, but they are pugs – not active!

I had to open a photobucket account and load the pictures there! It was quick and easy though! Then I did what I usually do to post pictures in other places. Open the picture, right click, properties, copy the URL and paste in here!

Hey all, I’m Brad, I live in Pacifica, CA (just south of San Francisco), and I adopted my dog Daisy back in April. She’s a roughly 4 year old hound mix that was owner surrendered along with her 4 puppies and her sister. Luckily they all found homes and amazingly, through the internet, I am in touch with all of their new homes with the exception of one puppy. Sadly one of the puppies passed away last week from a liver failure. Anyways, on to the pictures! The other three dogs are my room mates. P.S. Don’t let my user name scare you, I’m not satantic, anti religious, or anything of the sort, LOL. Can someone tell me how to post the actual image instead of a link? I’m used to vBulletin.

I don’t know what she is, ha ha. Some people say bloodhound, but she is too small. Maybe an american fox hound? I may DNA test her some day. She’s roughly 4 years old and I just adopted her back in April. I don’t remember how to use image code, haven’t needed to do that since the old myspace days, LOL
