I know how much you love your pup, so I thought I should let you know that there are serious side effects from Pepcid AC. Here’s what I got from wiki: What side effects may I notice from receiving this medicine?

hallucinations
skin rash, itching

constipation

headache

It is a drug, not something that absorbs excess acid… It also masks the real problem, like ulcers, cancer or toxins in their diet or environment. So instead of giving an acid blocker, holistic veterinary nutrition consultant, Susan Griffiths, recommends better quality food plus probiotics and enzymes. She, Shawna & I all like Mercola’s and those two smart women like Garden of Life. I’ve never used Garden of Life so I can’t say, except I trust Shawna. 🙂
