I picked up a bag of the duck and pear that came from the new plant. When we opened the bag it was saturated with a yellowish oily substance and smelled. I immediately returned it and bought a bag of the Canadian lamb and apple formula but the supply from Canada is slowly dwindling. I emailed the company and they said that the small changes in formula and the new plant may make the food look different but it is safe. However, I would not feed my dogs or touch the disgusting mess that was in that bag. I’m wondering if that was just a production line thing for a few bags or if this is the new norm. Anyone else?
