So I just explained to my mom what the vet had said, and explained the blood test results to her. Recently, our friends dog was at deaths door. His kidneys were failing, and was to the point where they had scheduled his euthanasia appointment. As a last-ditch effort, they started giving him some sort of medication that is supposed to rebuild the kidneys, and he is now back to full health and going strong. She said it is some sort of over the counter vitamin, and that she wants Ginger on it. Anyone have any idea what this might be?
