Hi, take ur boy to the pound with you & he’ll pick his new sister or brother, Here in Austrailia we have a little section for meet & greets in our pounds, where you bring ur dog & see how they play & get on, its highly recommend that you bring ur dog….they see alot of returns as their dog doesn’t get on with the new rescue dog, (SAD) when the poor rescue dog has to go back to the awful noisey pound….
also keep his routine the same when you get home, pay the same attention & dont leave him out of anything…the pounds are always full around Xmas, Ive been looking at getting another little staffy girl around 4-6 yrs old …I know Patch once had a partner, so he must miss the dog company…
