Wow, girl. All I can say is good luck! I’m sure it’s hard for her to understand that things are much different here in the states, and that interracial relations ships are very common here. Just remember, your life doesn’t revolve around making other people happy– you can’t please everyone, and sometimes family is the hardest to please. However, family and friends are very often your voice of reason, so don’t shut their fears out completely. Sometimes being so close to a situation can make you blind, and they are there to help you see it from another perspective. You’re like a smart girl, with all your ducks in a row, and I know you’ll do what you feel is right for yourself 🙂
