The toxic dose for milk chocolate is 1 oz per pound of body weight. It is very rare for a dog to eat enough milk chocolate for that to be an issue. Dark chocolate and baker’s chocolate are much stronger and much more likely to cause a problem, but are also not as common.

Following the peroxide with a pinch of salt makes it work way, way faster/better. Because of the peristaltic action of the gut, string, cord, tinsil, etc. acts like a saw and slices into the gut wall, often causing many perferations.
