If you are using the Pov/Io, you need to know that it leaves the skin much more sun sensitive and they can burn easily, so if you apply it outside, you need to keep your animal(horse or dog) in the shade. For an animal that stays outside, it should be applied, allowed to work for 10-20 minutes, then rinsed off thoroughly.

Good coconut oil turns solid when the temp is under 75 F. If you want it to be liquid for mixing in food, put some in a smaller container that you can run hot water over.
