Thanks for everyone’s concerns. We walk our dogs just about every day on a 6 foot leash with a prong collar. They still pull, especially if they see a cat or something! I was planning on using the retractable only when at the ocean where there are not many people. I do have long leads, but they are not automatic recoil. It’s funny how the people on the forum are answering differently than on the review side. LOL!
