I have one more suggestion. I would just switch the litter over completely. If you are not sure about the elimination amount and any possble color change due to blood because of the litter, dump it out and put the Tidy Cat in the box.
Okay, two suggestions. If he hasn’t eaten what you put down earlier today make his food like you normally do to keep him hydrated. I am sure Bentley wouldn’t mind a snack of leftover cat food! lol
I have never used clam juice before, but it sounds like a good option.
