So, my vet refuses to feed blue to his dogs as well. It seems the militant blue feeders will decry any unfavorable info about their precious food. Mybeloved Springer was 16 y/o when we lost her and she ate IAMS her entire life. My Black lab is 15 and going sto g on IAMS. Our silver lab is getting 4Health and thriving. I see no reason to pay twice as much for a food whose biggest plus is a customer loyalty that boarders on obsession. The most important thing is love and care for the dog and feeding sensibly paying attention to the dogs overall health. Regular vet visits are important as well.
