My mom’s malti/poo has eaten Fromm grain free for over 5 years. When the DCM report came out I switched his food to Purina Pro Plan salmon sensitive skin and stomach. I really cringed changing to a Purina food but I must admit he has done really well on it. He likes the taste of it and he always has good poops.
A friend of mine has been feeding Fromm Salmon a la Veg to her dog for some time and he always did well on it. All of a sudden the dog was not feeling well. and she noticed he was getting tear stains. Turns out they changed the formula and added chicken fat. She had no idea that the formula was changed and her dog is allergic to chicken. She has decided to look for a different brand all together.
