I’m new so I’m sure you have heard this but…I haven’t used store bought treats for some time. i bought a cheap dehydrator and I make my own. I do chicken breasts, apples, sweet potatoes and the dogs love them. (Beef liver works well, if you have the stomach for it!!) I just have to be careful of the calories, especially with my husband. He’ll give them handfuls at a time!! I too grind our meats whenever I can. I always do ground beef-after the “pink slime” controversy!!!

Pat, Glad to be of help. I’m picking up an order tomorrow. He is a devoted dog lover and, while this is a business, it is also a passion. You should have no worries about the quality of the product. I’m so happy to have him. To duplicate his food would cost a fortune.

I also use a dehydrator to prepare chicken breast chips. Cut them thin (freeze a bit first), then pound as thin as you like. Vegs also work well sweet potato, zuccini, and apple.

I have been feeding products from TQDF for years. The company is located in Maryland, close to where we live. I began feeding their foods early in the com[any’s development and the product is absolutely superior. My vet uses his food!

If your dogs won’t eat the product with bone, I’d try mixing a little of it with whatever they have been eating and add more slowly. You can’t beat the quality or the price.
