ParticipantHey,
I don’t know how many of you are not from the U.S, but thought I let you know that a while ago I looked into Royal Canin products and found out that the ingredients in the products sold in the U.S are not the same as other countries. For example- the Boxer adult formula have meat as first ingredient in the U.S, but rice as first ingredient in my country and others as well.. So it would probably get a lower rate from the DFA.
I don’t feed Royal Canin, but I guess other companies might also do that. So if you live outside the U.S- always compere the ingredients or ask the company!labgirl
Participanti know they are changing there formulation too, the store i shop in has some of the new formulas as well for the breed specific bags . there is now a chicken by product instead of chicken meal . .i didnt know about that country ingredient difference though. great to know !! i dont feed this food either… yucky stuff in my opinion 🙁
