MemberThere are a fair number of people with dogs that compete in agility, Field Trials and Hunt Tests –many beyond these. They are high energy animals who need higher levels of ‘fuel” in their diets than most house dogs do.
The problem with many 30-20s is they are made with iffy ingredients –see Purina Pro Plan Performance. Our Field Trial athlete just spent 8 weeks in the south with his trainer. He looks great –in awesome shape for this season with one ? He was fed Purina Pro Plan Performance Sport while on this trip. I know many trainers use it. However–not for my boy.
Just isnt quality food.Think you might do a comparison of some of the options on the market

ParticipantThis is a very good point. I have Aussies who I do all kinds of trailing with. It is near impossible to find a 30/20 food that has decent ingredients and is grain free.
Annamaet has a 32/20. Not grain free but a very good company
Victors has a 30/20 that my dogs have done really well on.
Victors also has a 42/22 grain free and you could mix it with their other grain free formulas and it would make about a 37/20 -
