MemberMy dog has developed an allergy to peas. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good dry dog food that does not contain pea flour/pea fiber/pea protein? This ingredient is now being sourced from China.

MemberJust curious. What type of allergy testing has led you to believe that your dog is allergic to peas?
Have you consulted a specialist? Have you ruled out environmental allergies via Intra Dermal Testing?PS: My dog with environmental allergies and a sensitive stomach, does well on Nutrisca Salmon and Chickpea. She sees a specialist once a year and receives allergen specific immunotherapy with excellent results. She eats a variety of foods as toppers.
Allergies are a lifelong thing, expect flare-ups, they don’t just go away.pugmomsandy
ParticipantFresh is Best Inc freeze dried recipes are pea free (and flax/tomato/white potato free). Also comes in frozen raw but for a limited market.

MemberPioneer Naturals is pea free as well as no grains or potato…it has helped some with mine, although I am also dealing with grass allergies so I am just eliminating what I can via food to minimize the environmental aspect.
