Nylabone Nubs – Caution

MemberI purchased Nylabone Nubs for my Airedale, Cassidy. She “magician-ed” her way into the pantry and ripped open the bag. She ate all but two in a 22 count bag. We ended up at the emergency vet and she needed emergency surgery. They had solidified into large masses in her stomach and intestines. Because she was 11, it was a long, difficult recovery, and her intestines never functioned correctly again – she needed to stay on a soft, prescription diet and be on cisapride for the remainder of her life – just one more year. So beware…

The same thing can happen with bones, any hard object really.
Bowel obstruction. -
