ParticipantMy three dogs had been eating Natural Balance LID kibble since they all became very ill during the 4Health salmonella episode May 2012. Two weeks ago, about 24 hours after beginning a new bag of Natural Balance LID Sweet Potato and Fish (used to be salmon) they were all sooo thirsty. After about 30 minutes of nonstop drinking, we tasted the food and found it to be incredibly salty. We stopped feeding it and looked online and discovered the sale of Van Patten’s to Del Monte. Today I see this food has been re-reviewed by Dog Food Advisor and has dropped to a 2.5 rating. We won’t be using these products anymore.

MemberMy dog just started on this food; he’s not drinking any more than he did on the previous food. Btw, the sweet potato & fish is rated 3 stars.
