    She also is low on vitamin B. Vet recommends high protein SPECIAL VET dog food. Are there any in-store, lower priced dog foods?

    My shitzu has IBD/Crohn’s. We rotate feeding her Zignature Lamb and Zignature Kangaroo. She is doing extremely well with both! One thing that I learned from our experience is that chicken protein is the hardest protein for a dog to digest so she was absolutely no chicken in her diet at all. Your probably is low on vitamin B because of her IBD. I would expect her vitamin B levels to improve once her IBD is in remission.
