Milk Thistle dosage

Can someone tell me what the recommended dosage for Milk Thistle is (given after heartworm preventive, vaccs etc). I have 175mg capsules.

According to Dr. Becker’s book, most standardized milk thistle capsules are 100-125 mg.

small dogs 1/2 capsule daily
medium dogs 1 capsule daily
large/giant dog 1 capsule twice daily.

Thanks sheltiesmom. Does she list weights for dogs? I’ve got two around 30 pounds and one around 22

Usually 20-60lbs is considered medium.

Dr. Dodd’s recommendations:

Dog’s size Dose as % of adult human dose
5 lbs 10%
5-10 lbs 15%
11-20 lbs 20%
21-40 lbs 30%
41-70 lbs 50%
71-100 lbs 75%
100 lbs 100%
