MemberI have had my standard poodle puppy on Merrick for 5 weeks. He likes it and seems healthy. However, his poop is always soft, some times a little runny, like soft serve ice cream.
He has been checked for worms. So I think this food does not agree with him.
What is it about the food that could cause this problem, and how do you choose another food to try and avoid this issue?
thanks!
Susan
ParticipantHi Lori, look at the fat% it might be a bit too high for him, the next kibble pick a bit lower fat% & see if things are better..

MemberI had the same problem with Merrick and other high protein dog foods a few months ago and have sense switched back to Science Diet
