Lion's Mane or Amyloban 3399 – safe for dogs?

    I read in the Townsend Letter October 2014 that Lion’s Mane or Amyloban 3399 is useful in helping to improve brain function. My dog has suffered a neurological condition that seems to have caused his brain to not function in a normal way. Does anyone have experience with Lion’s Mane or Amyloban 3399? Would be harmful if I gave it to my dog?
