MemberGreetings! I have read Mike Sagman’s posts on Quora in reference to home-cooked meals. He suggests that meals must be “thoughtfully designed” to ensure that dogs are getting the correct nutritional requirements. Does anyone know of a reputable website or software program that I can use to design my own meal plans? I would love to consult with a certified canine nutritionist but I can not find one in my state.

Just ask your veterinarian that takes care of your pets for routine care (annual checkups, labs, dentals) for a referral.
Also https://www.petdiets.com/ and http://www.acvn.org/nutrition-consults/
http://www.acvn.org/directory/They will work with your vet to come up with the right diet for your pet.

ParticipantHi Ashlee-
Both BalanceIt.com and petdiets.com offer consultation services with their staff of veterinary nutritionists. They can work with your pets vet if they have a medical condition as well.
