MemberWe have a miniature schnauzer who have itchy skin, and allergies. We were recommended blue buffalo basics salmon and potato. He has been on it for a while and does well with it. Unfortunately it’s a little too much for our current budget. Are there any other less expensive brands I should consider that are close in nutrition and allergy friendly? Thanks in advance.

MemberHi James,
Here are some limited ingredient foods to look at: Canidae Pure, Canine Caviar, California Natural grainfree, Natures Variety LID, a Wellness Simple, Zignature. Go to their websites and compare the ingredients. Have you thought about ordering online? A lot of us find the prices cheaper & no need to drive to the store. My preferred place is Chewy.com. They have great prices & great customer service. Their return policy is 365 days & they pay for return shipping. Other places are PetFlow.com, Wag.com and PetFoodDirect.com. I do not recommend doggie food.comGood luck!
