Sue’s Zoo
MemberFeeding my extra large pup his first turkey neck. He’s in heaven! I bought a roll of plastic for him to eat on but his front paws are now covered in ‘raw’. Doesn’t seem too sanitary. How do others deal with it. Our younger pup is going to want to eat his legs. She hasn’t transitioned to raw yet.

MemberI have Border Collies and they wash like cats, so I have never worried about it. Vinegar on a wipe should do the trick though.

ParticipantI feed my dogs their turkey necks just partially thawed and it seems to keep it a little less messy and it makes them last a little longer also. Which, still isn’t very long.
