I have seen many times here that eggs are a good alternative food or snack for dogs. All I know about this is that my dad used to let the dog lick the breakfast plate that still had egg on it because it was easier to get off with the dog then washing 😀
How much is too much? If we were to scramble an egg and give 1/2 one day and 1/2 the next is that ok? Dont not want a dog with high cholesterol lol.
theBCnutMemberIt depends on the dog’s size, and it is OK to feed more free range eggs than it is caged eggs. My 40 lb dogs get an egg almost every day, but my eggs are from my chickens and I know that they are 90% organic free range chickens. I feed raw one day and lightly cooked the next.
apriliamilleMemberwe give our dogs a free range egg 3 times a week. we wash them and then just put in the bowl and let them chomp down on it shells and all
